Environmental Policy
Here at The Blue Haven Kinsale we are committed to further enhancing the quality of life in Ireland by monitoring and implementing policies with due regard to protecting the natural environment, to make our Green Island a better place to live for generations to come, while helping to secure the long term sustainability of the tourism industry.
It is The Blue Haven Policy Therefore;
- To manage all aspects of environmental policy as integral parts of company business and planning
- Develop appropriate environmental policies and programmes and monitor their consistent implementation and effectiveness
- Comply fully with environmental legalisation and aim to reduce our environmental impacts
- Providing all Blue Haven Staff with the necessary awareness, education, training and resources to implement the policy
- Aim to conserve energy and water, to manage waste and emissions, following the principles of PREVENT, REDUCE, RE-USE AND RECYCLE
- Foster awareness of shared support, participation, responsibility for the environment among employees and customers
